Simon-Ward Collection - Le Mans '70
Limited Edition:
Archival Matte Paper - 50

The combination of two passions, car's and art.
From the moment Simon could hold a pencil or brush he has been drawing and painting car's, fueled further by his first visit to a Grand Prix, the British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch in 1972.
There are so many ingredients to producing each original painting, the speed, drama, excitement. Each painting captures a moment in the history of motor sport. From Nuvolari with his Alfa Romeo in 1931 to Ayrton Senna at Monaco in 1992, the paintings are a blend of elements that still drive Simon's love for the sport.
Simon's work has led to travelling to many of the great circuits around the world, Spa, Monza, Le Mans and Daytona. His work can be found in the homes of some legends of the sport, Riccardo Patrese, Mark Webber, Emerson Fittipaldi, Gordon Murray and David Coulthard. His work hangs permanently at the Sebring Airport, home of the legendary 12 hours of Sebring.
